The following information relates to what we know is happening in Australia. If you know of other KidsGames in Australia, please let us know.

    If you are from elsewhere in Australia, please go ahead and organise your town, city or region. Pull together different groups and run KidsGames! in The KidsGames site will give you everything you need to know. There are some DVD-ROMs available in Australia and NZ, though everything is already on this website to download. Simply click "login" above and register and everything will be available for you to download. If you would like a copy of the DVD contact Karen Connors and ask for a KidsGames DVD. The DVDs are free, but would request you pay for postage costs. If you cannot afford this, please say so.

    Please register yourself at this website - it costs nothing, is totally secure and opens the door to all the KidsGames information. Once you log in, you will also discover the Training Dates for any training that are coming up in Australia.

    KidsGames in NSW

    Excitement is growing as we move closer towards KidsGames here in NSW again. Don't miss out on being part of the action this year!

  • In Australia, KidsGames is often run as a 5-day holiday programme (approx 9am-1pm ) at the local church/community group/suburb and ends with a big, colourful, festival like Closing Ceremony for the whole community with all suburbs coming together. KidsGames can also be run as a 5 –10 week programme (once a week).

  • You can start small, grow and multiply with a grassroots model. KidsGames started in Sydney in 2001 with just 5 churches/groups and 150 kids. It has grown rapidly with over 3000 kids and 70 churches/organisations since then.

  • Or you can dream big and do a larger more centralized town/city wide event. In October 2003, and again in June 2006 100 churches in Brisbane combined for a city wide KidsGames.

  • KidsGames will be happening again in Brisbane. KidsGames have also been held in Tasmania, Western Australia and Victoria as well as in two rural Aboriginal communities in WA and QLD.

    All that is needed to run KidsGames in a community is a passionate leader from each local church to work with other churches in their community. Could this person be you?     To explore getting a new KidsGames started by working in partnership with other churches, companies and groups in your community Contact one of the leaders below.
