This KidsGames curriculum is a 5 session program discovering Daniel's (and his friends') deep trust in God.
The story of Daniel is an immensely powerful message for children who are displaced or feel out of place in their culture, country, or community. Daniel is a young man who has been taken as a slave to a dominating Empire. He must learn a new culture, language, and way of living as part of his new role and place in the world.
At the same time, Daniel and three of his friends, are faithful believers in God. While they are discovering a new culture, offered rich foods and an amazing education, they are maintaining their own faith and culture and their identity as children of God. As we explore the story of Daniel, we can celebrate these friends as they trust in God. We can be in AWE of the way God answers their prayers and blesses their faith.
